Dr Faustina obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in 2018 after completing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Pharmacology. She has since worked in private practice across Auckland. Faustina enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a special interest in restorative and preventive dentistry. She firmly believes that quality dental care begins with building good rapport with patients. Her experience as a part-time support worker caring for clients with spinal cord injuries during university, and her local and international dental volunteering experiences have developed her communication and interpersonal skills which her patients enjoy today. To further benefit her clients, she keeps up-to-date with the latest dental technology and clinical research by attending regular dental courses.
Outside of fixing teeth, Faustina enjoys outdoor hikes, travelling, and meeting new people. She is also a busy mother to her two kids and enjoys spending the weekend with her family.

Dr Gloria is the principal dentist at Northcote Dental. She graduated from the University of Otago in 2015 with Distinction and has since worked in private practice in Taupo and Auckland. She is currently also a clinical tutor with the University of Otago Auckland Facility.
Gloria enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a special interest in Orthodontics having completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics. She firmly believes that a smile will go miles in making a positive difference to a person’s life. With a keen eye to detail and artistic ability, Gloria enjoys giving patients the smile they have always dreamed about. She is also passionate about learning new techniques and technology to provide quality dental services to all her patients. Moreover, her gentle and caring approach helps put many nervous patients at ease.
When Gloria is not working on teeth, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a keen runner and an enthusiastic foodie who loves to bake. Gloria also loves travelling and has a keen interest in volunteer work, having provided dental services to rural villages in both Vietnam and Myanmar.
Dr Leah received her Bachelor of Dental Science from University of Witwatersrand in South Africa in 2010. Since then, she has a wealth of experience working in both hospital and private practice settings. Having migrated to NZ in 2020, Dr Leah has worked in private practice in Christchurch and Auckland.
Dr Leah enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a special interest in restorative work and denture prosthesis. Her approach to dentistry is always one with care and empathy. Patients find themselves at ease when receiving dental treatment under her experienced hands. Knowing dentistry is an ever-evolving field, she is committed to keeping up to date with evidence-based dental care. Outside of work Leah enjoys picnics and long walks on the beach with her family. She also likes to wine and dine at fine restaurants and strut her stuff at Zumba.

Originally from Taiwan, Dr Christy moved to New Zealand at a young age. She completed her college education in Auckland and received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Otago.
Christy is fluent in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese. She is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, with special interests in pain-free restorative work and minimally invasive dental treatments. She believes in building long term trusting relationships with the patients through effective communication. With a keen interest in modern dentistry, she is always driven to attend courses for up-to-date education, in order to provide the best care tailored for everyone. Christy has a bubbly and caring personality, which helps put many anxious patients at ease.
Christy is a member of New Zealand Dental Association and Auckland Dental Association.
Outside dentistry, Christy loves going to dance classes and reformer pilates training. She also enjoys visiting local cafes and gaming in her free time.
Dr Elayna received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University of Otago in 2015. She has since been working in general practice in Auckland, Ruakaka and Tauranga. She is a firm believer in building trustworthy relationships with her patients and taking the time to connect with every patient heart-to-heart. She has a calm and relaxing approach in dental treatment and always likes to make her patients feel comfortable in the dental chair.
Having recently completed a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Melbourne, Dr Elayna hopes to grow a career in Healthcare management. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin. Outside of work, Elayna enjoys spending time with her friends and family and is a regular attender at her local church.
When you arrive at our clinic at Northcote Dental, Emma will be the first one to greet you with her beautiful and warm smile. Having moved to NZ from Brisbane in early 2024, Emma has joined our team with an enthusiastic attitude to work. She is an organizational wiz and is a natural when it comes to communication. Not only this, Emma has a passion for helping people and aims for all our patients to come into the clinic confidently and at ease. Outside of work, Emma enjoys caring for animals and plants. In her spare time, she also likes to game with her partner and socialize with friends and family.
Janet is our friendly dental assistant who is always puts our patients to ease with her gentle approach. Trained in China as a doctor, Janet brings a wealth of medical knowledge to her role. With her compassion for people and her willingness to help those in need she decided to join our team in 2021. When not working at the practice, Janet is a busy mum to her 5-year-old daughter. To relax her family enjoy going to the beach when the sun is out during summer.
With her bubbly personality and constant positive energy, Carrie makes an excellent dental assistant that our patients love. Being a previous nail artist in Singapore for many years, Carrie is great with her steady hands. Carrie joined the Northcote Family since early 2022. In her free time, Carrie is a busy mum to her 2.5-year-old daughter. On the weekends together with her family, Carrie enjoys a chill day watching movies and Netflix at home.
Michelle is our dedicated dental assistant that has been part of the Northcote Dental family since 2022. Her experience as a nurse to newborn babies in the hospital equips Michelle to give the utmost care for our patients. Many patients are drawn to her calm and comforting approach when she is in the surgery. Outside of dentistry, Michelle is busy helping other clinics as a medical nurse. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 8-year-old son.
With her cheerful personality and infectious big smile, Insun is our dental assistant that never fails brighten our patient’s day. Insun is in her first year of training at AUT to become a registered nurse. When she is not busy stuck in her books, she uses her clinical experience to help put our patients at ease at Northcote Dental. Being fluent in Korean, Insun helps us to communicate with our Korean patients. In her free time, Insun is a busy mum to her 1-year old son and enjoys taking him to the pools for a swim in the weekends.
